Mission Opportunities

Check back regularly for the most updated list of ways to get involved!

Help Counter Food Insecurity

We have a wonderful opportunity to serve and partner with our neighbors right up the road at the Charlie Ferguson Community Center, which supports seniors on fixed incomes and individuals experiencing food insecurity.

You can help by bringing items from this list to church on Sunday mornings. If you have any questions, please reach out to Marianne Butler.

Fuel Teachers and School Staff (with coffee!)

We’re launching a new ministry to support Ralph Bunche School, a Pre-K school serving children ages 3–6 through Head Start and Special Needs programs, and they don’t have a PTA or regular community support. Our first project? A coffee station for the incredible staff caring for nearly 200 little ones each day.

We’re raising funds for monthly coffee supplies to keep the love (and coffee) flowing. Would you consider donating any amount to help fuel this ministry? Contact Jill Strickland to get involved.

Support Foster Families

You can volunteer to support foster parents through assisting with watching and engaging with their kids during our Foster Family Nights. Taking place monthly throuhgout the academic year, we work with Goshen Valley Homes and Cherokee County DFACS to meet the needs of foster children and parents. Visit the church calendar to register for an upcoming date.

Note that, once registered, we will send you a link and ask you to complete a background check to work with children at Liberty Hill in accordance with our Safe Sanctuaries initiative.
